Winter to Spring Dress.

April 8, 2015

I wore this dress on my birthday back in January, which was actually warmer than it was on the day these photos were taken. This past season in Los Angeles has made it clear to me that my positive attitude toward winter while living in Michigan was purely a survival instinct, because the thought of trudging through the snow, shivering in my car, and spending every day looking forward to spring is something that I can’t imagine going back to right now. I just want to give everyone living in a cold winter climate an enormous virtual high-five because it can get really, really hard. Welcome to spring, ladies. Purchase a floral maxi dress and celebrate.

Thank you for the high five! I live in MN, and the winter months are the worst!

By the way, this hair color is great on you!!

  2. Jackie says:

I ask myself every winter how I handle living in a cold climate (Toronto, Canada). It’s BRUTAL, and I seriously wish I could move somewhere warm!

Great outfit – florals and maxi dresses are always wins.

    Wow! Love that dress!
I’m from Iowa and now in Seattle. I do not miss winter :p I was just home for a visit. I told my family, “sorry, I’m never moving back. It’s way too cold.”

Oh that dress! So pretty it kills me.
