Stitches by Sarah Bonk Giveaway!

September 28, 2014

I know I haven’t been doing as many giveaways on Sidewalk Ready lately but when Sarah Bonk Stitches reached out to me, I was immediately on board. I absolutely love embroideries as my mom was an avid cross stitcher when I was younger. Having just moved across country, a Michigan state shaped stitching was the perfect addition to my collection. Also, hello  – what a cute gift idea this is (ahem*christmasiscoming*). I figured it was the perfect time to share!

Sarah would like to give away a stitching of the winner’s choice! You will be able to choose which state you would like embroidered along with the colors (5 background options, many thread options).

To enter you must:

Follow Sarah Bonk Stitches on Facebook and then leave a comment on this post sharing which state is your favorite and why!

The Stitches Giveaway will be open until Sunday, October 4th at 12am. The winner will be selected at random and contacted by email. If I have not received a response within 24 hours, another winner will be selected.

Good luck!

While I was raised in (and often miss) my home state of Ohio, I’ve been working to embrace my new home in Chicago Illinois. I’m getting to my third year here and I feel like things are just starting to fall into place for me and it’s becoming my home. Something I couldn’t have said when I first moved here.

  2. Diana Flynn says:

My favorite state is Texas. It’s where I grew up and lived my whole life until 3 years ago when I moved to Arizona. I miss Texas for so many reasons and it will always hold a special place in my heart and be home to me.

    My home state of Virginia!!!!

I moved to Tennessee two and a half years ago for work, never dreaming that I would ever want to come back. But this state has gotten into my bones, it beats along with my blood. It is so different from everywhere I have lived before, but it has become home.

    i pick Michigan!

I would pick The Mitten State! I was born and raised in Grand Rapids, MI. I moved to Boston over a year ago and I’ve been filling my apartment with little Michigan knick-knacks including my two fellow Michigander roomies. I love Boston, but I miss my home state everyday.

  16. Pennsylvania is where I was born and raised and where I currently live! I am crazy about my city, Pittsburgh, and the whole state is really beautiful. Even though there are so many amazing cities and states in our country, there’s no place like home.

  17. Elizabeth says:

Washington is by far my favorite state. Mountains, water, and evergreen trees. What’s not to love?

  18. Rebecca says:

I would choose Iowa. Born and raised here, and it’s been an awesome experience! I love traveling to other states, and I can see how Iowa might be considered boring; but it will always be a special place to me. Besides, we live in the Loess Hills, which is basically the Scotland of Iowa.

  19. Amie Summers says:

Minnesota! It’s sneaky awesome – as in, most people don’t expect it to be such an incredible place to live/visit! Love the seasons, the lakes, and the people. No matter where I live, MN will have my heart.

  20. I’d absolutely LOVE a stitching of my home state of FL! I’m in California now, but friends, family, and my first home are all wrapped up in Florida! I’d LOVE to win this!!

  21. Avery says:

Arizona – though fairly boring looking – holds many sweet childhood memories as my family used to travel there for a month each year to escape the winter in Canada. :)
