New York Day 04: Ace Hotel

I’ll admit, my outfit yesterday was not photographed. The #1 reason being that it was  re-wear of a look I’ve already worn on here … so if you want a visual, see here.

Yesterday was spent in Tribeca at a french café called Josephine’s where Hypatia and I worked for a couple hours. We then headed to SoHo, stopped in some shops, and ate at one of her favorite restaurants, Rubirosa. I’ve come to realize that my original fear of spending money shopping has not come true. However, I have been dropping some serious cash on food. Worth it? I think so.

This is what I’m wearing today while I work at the Ace Hotel. You may notice that I was wearing this blouse in my last outfit post. I managed to pack everything for this six day trip into a carry-on suitcase so some re-wearing is absolutely necessary.

Wow this is the best coat ever, very elegant and colorblock and still matches perfectly with the jeans and the booties! It must be very warm, too, so double congratulations for your decision to buy it!

I love seeing pieces reworn – because, let’s face it, most people don’t have big enough closets (or budgets) to never wear an outfit twice. That’s doubly true on vacation. Any examples of how to change up your look without varying your basics much is very appreciated!

I love Rubirosa, their arugula & parmesan pizza was absolutely fantastic! A religious experience in a pizza.
