Stress-free Style.

It’s been a whirlwind of a weekend already and it’s only Friday. I am writing this post from a Starbucks on University of Michigan’s campus where I am attending Folk Fest this evening, then driving to Grosse Pointe (a suburb outside of Detroit) tomorrow morning to do wedding hair for a dear friend from my college days, afterwards I’ll return to Ann Arbor for day #2 of Folk Fest, and Sunday morning I’ll rise before the sun and head to Detroit in order to catch a plane to NYC for six days. Whew!

Anticipating all these events and working through everything I had to complete beforehand put me at risk of being overwhelmed. I’ll admit, I have a tendency to get stressed pretty easily (please no comments from those who have witnessed this side of me *ahem*), but I tried my best to live moment to moment and calmly check things off my to-do list. In order to maintain my sanity the past couple of days, I consumed a lot of coffee and kept my wardrobe simple. This is what I wore on Wednesday, which started first thing in the morning with blog work and ended late in the evening after back to back hair clients. Leggings, long sweater, scarf, coat. Simple. Easy. Done.

I feel so fortunate to have these travel opportunities. This next week is going to be exciting, motivating, empowering, and refreshing. I expect to continue updating while I am out of town, so check back for NYC updates!

It’s so funny how a simple zipper can elevate the look of a top. You look cute and comfortable. I love the blurry snowflakes in your pics!

Very cool. Grey is my favorite color and I love how you paired it with this shade of blue; easing into Spring. I have these items in my closet and will put them together. Thanks once again for the inspiration.

    Have a lovely day!
