You all are wonderful. I don’t know if I can tell you that enough. I am so excited about the give and take that I’m seeing happening here on SWR. I love writing for those who feel encouraged by reading, and in turn, you have also created a new empowerment and motivation within me. I received an email earlier today with a quote that I wanted to share with you.
“Start with the knowledge that you are empirically lovable. There is nothing that could be added to you that would make you more acceptable. Give yourself some compassion. Be kind and gentle with your own heart. And then you will be able to give that to others. Love thyself.”
Thank you for sharing yourselves with me. You are such an inspiration and I am endlessly appreciative.
On a completely unrelated note, I have a new project in the works with a friend of mine who happens to own a video production company. These images were taken during the video shoot we did on Monday. We just saw our first heavy snowfall here in Grand Rapids and despite the wind, it was the perfect day to be outside. This is so unlike me, but I am reveling in winter this year. No guarantees that this attitude will carry me through to spring though. Ask me again in March.
