Fall friendly.

I have been trying my best to fully take advantage of this season. This goes for my wardrobe as well as what I’ve been doing with my free time. Yesterday, a friend and I decided to travel north to Traverse City for a day trip. We hiked through forests of tree full of colorful foliage, overlooked the grape vineyards by the bay, and visited the Old Mission Lighthouse before doing a little wine tasting. Living in Michigan this time of year is truly magical, and I didn’t want to miss the opportunity to explore!

In terms of my wardrobe, I’m not passing on any opportunity to continue wearing skirts and dresses without tights, and I have really enjoyed making these wardrobe items more fall friendly. I’ve been doing this by wearing long sleeved tops and sweaters and mixing in fall tones. This outfit is the perfect representation!

I envy your fall. It seems like fall for you is all about getting the right colours while dressing very light. Over here, it is more about, trying to look not too heavy/wintery, while still being warm enough (it’s cold!)
