Transition Time.

May 2, 2013

When styling the dress, my initial inclination was to wear my Banana Republic wedges again. But for the sake of not being repetitive, I gave these ankle boots a shot and really loved the outcome. This is the perfect time of year to play around with warm weather and cool weather pieces. It shows that I’m embracing the weather, but not diving in head first. It’s transition time!

I would also like to mention that it was close to 80 degrees when these photos were taken. My goosebumps are misleading. Am I the only one that breaks out in shivers at the slightest breeze? C’mon skin – You’re so dramatic.

    Such a pretty dress!

This is the best time of year to really have fun with mixing all sorts of pieces together. I’ve been loving booties with dresses, but it’s such a short season before all I can stand are sandals.

you looks so pretty and I love the combo of the edgy boots and lace dress! Your hair is so nice in this shorter look as well!

If I may ask- what size did you buy? I think we are a similar size, but the model on the website looks like she is wearing the dress much tighter than you! Plus, they seem to be out of most sizes, but I must have this dress!

    You look gorgeous!
