Renegade.

Normally I save my edgy looks for evening, so to mix things up, I recently tried a more alternative look for day. I know. Who am I? That’s one thing that has sparked my love for fashion. I can express my mood by what I’m wearing. I would say that my clothing choices are strongly dependant on how I’m feeling that day.

I based this outfit around the beanie, and to compliment it, I decided to wear my new Runner boots from Blowfish. I thought they both had a rugged feel and were the perfect match. Rather than wearing my leather jacket, which is what I would have done for evening, I chose this wool cardigan. It was perfect for a lunch date and then a work session at a local coffee shop.

I love that you didn’t make it costume-y by adding the leather jacket. It would have seemed a little too edgy and not as “you” the classic Kaylee we all know. It’s a good mix of yu and edge. Good job!

I like this outfit a lot…casual and comfy, but a little edgy too. i think i have the same shirt, but never thought to wear it inside out. Might have to try that sometime!

So proud of what you are doing – I may be older, but I am putting a bit of your fashion sense to work here in Texas too! So beautiful and so talented!

    Hi Kaylee,
Do you wear false eyelashes? If so, can you post a video on how to apply them and then how to apply makeup for the eye after the eyelashes are on?
(I also asked you about your lipstick shade a few posts back but maybe you didn’t see my comment as I added it a couple days after the post was up) Thanks for all your inspiration. Been reading you for a long time. I’m a 34 year old mother of three from Canada ;)
    Thanks!

I don’t wear false eyelashes! I’ve never been able to apply them myself but I did wear them for my wedding and the key was to line the eye with a dark liner afterwards.

Well then you are lucky to have such beautiful long eyelashes. I wore them on my wedding day too but that was in 2000 and I don’t remember what they were like. Well I’ll just experiment. Thanks!

    P.s.
I am so sorry, I didn’t see your reply to my lipstick comment before. I had chosen to receive an email to notify me of the reply but I guess it didn’t work. So thank you, I think I have already found a similarly match. The shade is called candy apple.
