Collared prep.

I feel like I am constantly wearing this type of look. Flats, jeans, top, blazer/cardigan. It’s my favorite outfit formula for this time of year. It’s not fussy, but still requires a bit of styling.

I typically will wear a top with interest with a simple cardigan over top, but I tried something a little different this time – a simple blouse with a bold blazer. I loved the mix of prep and pop in this ensemble! If you are looking to add a little more “fun” into your wardrobe, consider adding pieces with vibrant colors, whether it be something bold like a blazer, or subtle like a scarf, and make sure you have plenty of basics to pair them with!

Love the pop of pink! Such a great color to battle the late-February gray. I also love the styling with the earrings and shoes.

I have a serious blazer obsession and I love the bold color of this one – it works for winter, but I can totally see you transitioning it into spring too. Also love the shoes! :)

Honestly, there is a little that I love more than a blogger who uses the same pieces on a regular basis. That is what everyone else does, so if anything, you have endeared yourself to everyone by wearing that Daniel Wellington watch so much. : ) I love the way that you put everything together — you have a lovely eye for outfits (and a lovely face, too)!

i sincerely adore the photography on this blog. it’s the standard that i one day hope to achieve, both in equipment and in style. the detail shots are stunning – your earrings look magnificent!

I love the bright pink blazer. I’ve really been drawn to brighter blazers lately (red, cobalt, fuschia). I think it’s a fun way to add some colour in the yucky tail end of winter, while still staying relatively warm.

That blazer is so chic—I love the piping! And those shoes give this outfit such a cool vibe.

Another one of my favorite looks you’ve put together. I’m a huge advocate of the fully buttoned blouse – especially when it’s soft and feminine as this one. So beautiful.

I agree – there’s something about a nice pop of color to an otherwise casual outfit. And I agree with you – I just love Geneva watches! I have the same Geneva watch in 3 colors. :)
