This outfit was photographed for a guest blog post I did for the blog “Fresh American”. It was inspired by a room from Annie Selke’s new book, Fresh American Spaces. This look is intended to be studious with both masculine and feminine elements. You can see the guest post, the room that I used as inspiration, AND a giveaway¬†here!

What size did you get in these pants? Since they’re leggings, I can’t decide if I should go my regular BR size or smaller. Decisions, decisions.

The ones I have are a petite size and the smallest size they had in store are actually a size up from my normal size. They fit comfortably, but a little loose in the waist, so my regular size may have been better. It’s hard to say since I wasn’t able to try them on. That being said, I do think it’s strange that they classify them as a legging. They feel like normal denim to me …

I love that you included your lipstick color. I’ve always been a fan of the lip colors you use but felt slightly weird asking about it :)

Okay, seriously I am speechless with this outfit. It looks so classic but with so many interesting added details. I am sorta sad I don’t have this exact same look.
