Social situations.

How many of you are stressing about what to wear to a holiday party this year? At most of these gatherings, we will be surrounded by people that we see on a regular basis, but for some reason we feel more pressure when it comes to what we wear. Why is that?

Anyway, this dress is ideal for a cocktail style holiday party. It’s semi-formal, holiday appropriate, and has beautiful, special details. It’s not too fashioned forward so it will blend in, while still standing out in a subtle way. I absolutely love the back detail, and the tailoring is impeccable. It’s the perfect combination of an air of effortlessness and a refined elegance. Simple and lovely.

Love the dress, however, I remember trying on wedding dresses in that style and off-the-rack in your size does not always fit. A lot of tailoring goes into the cut out. If you are looking for something ready-to-wear a dress like this might not be an option. That being said, it is beyond gorgeous! You look fantastic as usually, and I really like the complimentary hair and make up.

This IS the perfect holiday cocktail dress…modest enough to suit family gatherings, but absolutely darling enough for coworkers and friends too! I love the lace, it looks very expensive and is a beautiful pattern.
