There was a shady guy loitering around while we took these pictures … and he looked at us like we were the weird ones. Okay, creepy, illegally parked man. Move along.
This is a little 4th of July preview … I’m celebrating my independence a little early this year.

My friend from middle school, Alli, is now a Mary Kay Representative, and she recently contacted me about trying out some products. I’ve never used Mary Kay before so I was more than happy to test a few things out. She sent me a lipstick, face primer, and various samples of lotions and creams. The lipstick I am wearing in this post is the “Caramel” and I am excited to say I have found my new go-to lip shade! I trusted Alli to select a color for me, and I’m so glad that I did. I love that this lipstick is a nice, subtle red color because all of my other reds are pretty vibrant. I’ve also been wearing the face primer daily. I don’t know if you remember, but I mentioned in my Valentine’s Day Makeup Tutorial that I was searching for a primer that wouldn’t irritate my sensitive skin. After a few weeks of use, I haven’t had any issues with the Mary Kay Primer. Plus, it had SPF 15, which is a must for me!
Because Alli is so awesome, she wants to offer Sidewalk Ready readers 10% any Mary Kay products. Whether you’re already using Mary Kay, or maybe just want to try something new, this is your chance to order! As I mentioned earlier, I asked Alli to select my lipstick shade for me purely based on my blog photos and she did an awesome job! I would definitely trust her to help me with selecting shades again. You can email Alli at allirigg@marykay.com for more information.

amazing outfit. so cute. thanks for the discount at mary kay!
I always feel like the creepy one when I take my blog pictures…but that’s mostly because I take them of myself, in back alleys. Officially creepy.
On another note, you look gorgeous. That lip color really does suit you!!

I know how you feel. Back alleys are the sketchiest places but the best for pictures!
