Woven, low bun upstyle.

I have another video to share with you today! We recorded this yesterday morning right before I recorded the PMD Microdermabrasion review. Might as well kill two birds with one stone, right? But not literally, because birds are pretty.

Here is the completed updo:

And the tutorial!
* please keep in mind that if your hair is super thick or heavy, you might need to use multiple or larger bobby pins.

Outfit Breakdown:
Necklace: c/o Poshlocket (Same.)
Cardigan: c/o Five Bamboo (Same.)
Tank: Gap Outlet
Belt: Thrifted
Jeans: Gap (Same.)

Thanks for watching!

i love this! i really want to give it a try – i am somewhat challenged when it comes to this bird’s nest on my head that i call hair – but this looks great!

Lovely look! May I ask what your tattoo says? I can tell it’s Hebrew, but can’t read the whole thing. :)

Love this! I’m so glad that I found your site I get in a rut of pony tails and high or low buns with my updos.

PS. Don’t know if you saw my other comment, but I just wanted to tell you again about the Goody Twist Pins(just google them) they are beyond awesome for putting up your hair. They literally never slide out and stay in all day!

I did see the comment! Sorry I didn’t respond, it’s been crazy lately! I have suggested them to a lot of my clients with super thick hair. Regular bobby pins work great for me but I think they are such a genius invention for people with heavy hair!

Thanks for replying. I have to tell everyone I can about the twist pins. I’ve been putting my hair up since I can remember, and those pins are genius. I am really glad I clicked onto your site from WhatIWore. Your updos are really cute, and dead simple to accomplish to boot.

Jessica, I’m guessing you use the mini ones, right? I have super thick hair, and I think that would help me do something like this easier.
