Obligatory.

I’d like to start off by giving my April sponsors a big warm welcome! I am so thrilled to be starting this next leg in my Sidewalk Ready journey, and even more thrilled because I am so proud to feature these shops! Check out the bar on the right hand side, and happy shopping! :)

Pictures yesterday weren’t really an option. Kai got a new lens in the mail and wanted to try it out. Why is putting together a blog worthy outfit so much harder when the pressure’s on? Anyway, I decided to style up my metallic holiday sweater in a more spring appropriate way. I added stripes and a few casual elements, and I think this sweater just got a whole new identity!

Outfit Breakdown:
Jacket: LOFT (Save. Spend. Splurge.)
Sweater: Gap (Save. Spend. Splurge.)
Tee: Gap
Jeans: Levi’s (Save. Spend. Splurge.)
Bracelets: LOFT, purchased in Kenya, gift
Boots: Gap Outlet (Save. Spend. Splurge.)

Hair:
When Kai told me he was ready to go, my hair was still air drying. Instead of blowdrying and curling, I just opted for this tutorial. A couple minutes later when I told Kai I was ready to go his response was, “wow, that was fast.” Hence the title of the tutorial.

  1. You look lovely! I really like that you can see the stripes through the metallic sweater, and that jacket is great. What lens/camera does Kai shoot with?
