From what I understand, boot cut jeans are out of style. Flares and skinnies seem to be the go-to denim trends at the moment. Well, I wore boot cut jeans today anyway. I tried this outfit on with my skinny jeans and they just didn’t look as good … so boot cut jeans it was. Let’s bring them back, shall we? This is the part where we all huddle in a circle, put our hands in the middle, and yell “One, two, three, goooo boot cuts!”

I seriously have given up on jean trends. I don’t think any jean (except “MOM” jeans) will ever completely go out of style.
Go boot cuts!
Yes please! I think boot cuts tend to be flattering on most people–far more than skinnies! I love mine (I think I have the same as you!), but sometimes when I wear them I feel like it’s not “cool” anymore or something.
I believe there will always be a place for a good boot cut. I recently read about their “going out of style” in a fashion magazine and actually scoffed out loud. Yay boot cut!
A flattering pair of jeans is always a good pair of jeans, even if they aren’t on trend. Yay for boot cut!
Boot cut jeans are about the only pair that I wear lately, so I hope they aren’t out of style! I’m all for bringing them back if they are
I love boot cut jeans! They’re universally flattering and should be considered a classic closet staple. I love the simplicity of this look. You definitely have casual-chic down!
I’m glad you’re pulling boot cuts back in! I love wide legs pants just as much as the next blogger…and skinnies are the epitome of comfort…but boot cuts have their proper place
Cute shoes, by the way!

I have been feeling the same way recently. I’m glad I’m not the only one. And, I think I agree with you, it wouldn’t have looked as good with skinnies.
What nail polish is that? It’s absolutely lovely!!
essie lapis of luxury!
Hooray for bootcut jeans! I agree, sometimes they just add a hint of polish to an outfit where flares and skinnies couldn’t go.
You look stunning today. Skinny jeans are the worst. Shanty says hello.
I love the periwinkle and orange together! Way to use those complimentary colors
Really doesn’t matter if they’re in or out. You look good and you feel good right ?
As a girl with some hips and other curves… goooo bootcuts! skinny jeans do not work for me!
Yes. I recently read that you should have one of each in your closet: skinny, bootcut, flare, wideleg, boyfriend.
As long as they fit the right way any jean style is “in style” for me.
Well, just because boot-cuts aren’t what’s making most people go shopping right now doesn’t mean it’s out of style! You don’t look outdated at all!

I’m definitely for wearing what works best — I still have some boot cuts and love ‘em. Also, adore the nail polish — will be looking for that one.
P.S. So pleased to see you are wearing the chevron necklace again! Yay!
Let’s just all agree that boot cut jeans will never go out of style!
seems like i have always worn boot cut,,since high school…(1982)
i have a few pairs of skinny jeans….but i really don’t like them…they are not comfy at all for me…
i have to be super skinny to wear em…otherwise, like they pinch and i feel like a clown in them a lot…
i have that same sweater in a navy blue with grey stripes…yours is cuter…
and there’s my purse again, mine is still in the box…i think I’m taking it out soon though…
its so bright for me….scary…but i saw someone (you?) wearing it with like a pink shirt……..thanks for showing me other possible colors to wear it with…..so fun….
Yay for boot cuts! They never go out of style, because they’re almost universally flattering. Simple, classic, cool. And I also wore blue stripes with my dark-wash boot cuts (might even be the same style as yours, from the Gap) on Friday the 13th, http://librarianforlifestyle.wordpress.com/2012/04/13/waistcoats-and-whatnot/
Nothing wrong with boot cuts
Love the fresh coloured bag!
i’m with you on boot cut! sometimes they’re just the silhouette you need with an outfit.
I never threw out my boot cuts…just like my boyfriends. Just way to comfortable and flattering. Skinny jeans only look good on freakishly skinny people anyway….
I love bootcut jeans. I feel much more odd wearing flared jeans since I always seem to feel like I look like I’m back in 7th grade with them. Maybe that’s just me. Hey- as long as they are flattering + look good, who cares?! Not I! Ps – what a GREAT bag, love the size + color
I will always love boot cut jeans, even if they go out of style! They’re one of the only style of jeans that looks good on me.
I love skinnies on other women, but they aren’t for me. Bootcut and trouser jeans are much kinder to my midsection. I’m still rocking a boutique pair I bought ten years ago, so you’re in good company.
