It’s probably not warm enough to be wearing a dress without tights right now but I am officially done with tights until the fall. The goosebumps were worth it.
This morning I attempted to come with up with a look that incorporated layering dresses … I pulled out two dresses and laid them on the bed but I almost put them back because I remembered the hem lengths being totally different. All it took was trying them on to realize that they actually worked well together. So, that goes to show there’s a lesson in trying something on before writing it off. You never know what will you will put together that surprisingly works!
This garnet bracelet was a gift from Saressa Designs! I had the hardest time choosing an item from her shop because everything is so unique and pretty. I eventually went with the garnet bracelet because it’s my birthstone. But you know what that means? There are a ton of gorgeous pieces available in her shop. And ya know what else? You can win a $30 credit to her shop in my giveaway!

I love this! I’ve wanted to try layering dresses but haven’t found the right combination yet.
I really love the layering of these dresses! I have a similar black dress from the Gap that I would love to try something similar with. Thanks for the inspiration Kayley
I love the look of layered dresses…and it’s a good sub for tights this time of year. I’ve officially packed mine away too, even though my legs are still shivery cold!

you are one brave girl without those tights. Couldn’t do it yet, it’s still too cold for my taste. And what a great idea, layering those two dress. Wonderful look. Should try this with too short dresses as well, maybe I can wear them without the tights as well!
