Some of you may have noticed that I haven’t been featuring flats very often on SWR lately. I don’t have a
good explanation for that, aside from the fact that I’ve simply been drawn to wearing heels lately.
However, I knew I was going to have a really busy day at work today and I would have been
completely insane to wear anything but flats. I hope that this look can give you some ideas for appropriate
work wear. That being said, the hem of the skirt should really be at the knee for most offices, but let’s
try to look past that, shall we?

Curled away from the fact with a 1.5 inch curling iron.

Wow – I love everything about this outfit! You look so chic and professional. Love love love the blue/green accents! I always feel shorter skirts can be forgiven if worn with colored tights, not exactly sure why, but that’s just how I roll.
Love the teal belt with all the black and gray, really stands out! Those flats are darling with the outfit too, gives it a great vintage vibe!

haha i love that hem length comment. i love it especially b/c i am sitting at work right now wearing a skirt i know is too short (about on par with your dress here). so, not tooooo bad, but ya know. i paired it with flat boots to try and get around it. exeptions are okay every now and then, right? also, LOVE the color of your skinny belt.

I love my heels, too. It’s hard to wear flats sometimes. But, sometimes, it’s just necessary!

I love the gray on gray in this look. And pairing it with mint?! Absolutely beautiful. I LIVE in flats. And oxfords are pretty much my favorite
