It’s been awhile since I’ve posted anything make up related, so I put together this video for you! It’s
a make up look incorporating different shades of pinks and purples – perfect for Valentine’s Day whether
it’s date night with your significant other, or hanging out with the girls!
Alright, so that’s the look, here’s the video. Please enjoy little sneak peaks of our pets, Shanty and Epworth,
and also the shaky camera work while Kai fends off Shanty. She always wants to play when we film videos.
Some further clarification when it comes to neutralizing under eye circles:
Red under eye concealer doesn’t exist. I got carried away. I meant yellow. Thanks, I’m special.
Anyway, yellow works awesome on purple under eyes, but considering I have a little red pigmentation as well,
I use the green. I hope this makes sense now.

The funny thing being…you don’t need any of these products because you are naturally pretty (as can be seen in the “before” picture)! But I need all of these products, so thank you! And your hair color is phenomenal.
thanks, mommy – love you!
Wow! Thanks for the tutorial- this is such a beautiful look! Thanks also for the list of products… I wish you could get some kind of commission on all the things I’ve bought because of this blog!
aw, really? what kind of things have you bought??
Hey Kayley, thanks for sharing the video. Its always nice to see other people do make up. But I agree with Magooch, your a natural beauty. Also, your husband is a trooper for fending off the animals and still appearing engaged in the tutorial.
Do you think the reason your eyeshadow looks so good is because you use the primer? I have bought so much eyeshadow in the past and have yet to find one that actually makes it look like I am wearing any (except once I bought a dark brown and it is too much for an everyday look).
yes! primer is essential!
Seriously, Kayls! Could you be more gorgeous? No makeup to start and then glam to finish. Both looks beautiful! And… I had been wondering about Epworth since he hadn’t made an appearance/mention in awhile. Glad to see he’s safely in the crate
aw, thanks becca! and he is so funny, he always sleeps there. shanty sits outside of it and stares at him …
You are really gorgeous, Kayley – great makeup look!
So I have to be very careful.
I was kind of amazed when you put on your mascara, how fast you did it!! My hand likes to get jerky, and occasionally I smear it all over my face.
thanks, rebecca! I’ve found that it’s easier for me to blink my mascara on. haha!
I love love love the too faced primed and poreless primer!
