I am here to come clean. I am really bad at this whole blogging thing. I mean, don’t get me wrong,
doing a blog post is no problem. But when it comes to templates, html, anything of that nature,
ugh. Because of this, last May when Kai and I made a video tutorial and it was too large to upload to
my Vimeo account, I just gave up. Well, those days are over because my video yesterday was also too
large, and instead of giving up, Kai made me a YouTube account. So ya know what? I have a really old
hair tutorial to share with you today.
Here is the finished look:
and here is the tutorial!
*Please ignore the how I seem to rush through the ending of the tutorial. Kai used to film all of my
videos on the highest camera resolution which only allowed them to run between 4-5 minutes long.
Can’t blame him, quality is his #1 priority … but then after seeing how flustered I would get at the end
of the video, we decided having extra time was more valuable. But hey, at least you can see that this
hairstyle is achievable in under 5 minutes!
To see the tutorial on how I got to the starting point, check out this post.
Again, sorry for the delay. Blame my technology ignorance. I’m trying to get better at this, I promise.
p.s. Refinery 29. If you’ve voted, double check that it worked. The heart should be pink!
If you haven’t, will you? Thanks!

I feel like Kai is so well-versed in hair and make-up tutorials. He would be able to give any woman advice and that image just cracks me up. I LOVE this hair tutorial. I love how your waves look so beachy and pretty. It makes the ponytail look so good!
I wish I could get my hair to do that! Great tutorial, glad you figured it all out

This style is fast, easy and works GREAT. I wore my hair twice this way in the last couple of weeks and once, it survived a noon-time Zumba workout, to boot! Tutorial was perfect. Thanks!!!
