The girl sitting next to me at Starbucks is singing to herself … and it’s the same line over and over …
And I wore this yesterday.
I painted my nails right before we left the house and I was afraid I would ruin them so I just decided
to channel Blair at Atlantic-Pacific and toss my coat over my shoulders and call it a day.
We’ve still been having a whole lot of sun and no snow, which is a welcome change. Sunglasses in
January? Where do I live again?

Most everyone I’ve talked to about this unusual weather has been in favor of the lack of snow.
Do you miss having a true winter this year? If yes, why? Maybe you can make me miss it.
Kai wishes it would snow because he likes driving in it, but considering I dread driving in the winter,
that argument isn’t working. Â :)

I’ve got to know what song that girl was singing so I can randomly sing it to you when we’re together.
Snow is coming tomorrow, baby, so enjoy today. Kai will not only be driving in it, he’ll be snowblowing it with his new present! You look very chic today with that coat thrown over your shoulders.
I absolutely love your outfit and your blog! I’m orginally from GR so I love your blog even more right now
I am loving the weather this week (it’s 50 degrees in Chicago today) but secretly fear that it means we’ll have snow in to April which I am not loving so much.
This red coat is so lovely. I love your bracelet & belt as well.
Love the outfit. I am with you on the weather… The kid in me wants it to snow so I can call off of work and play, the adult is screaming please don’t snow! It scares the crap out of me to drive in! LOL

You look so city chic here. Lovely outfit and awesome vintage pieces.
First of all, I have been following your blog for months and just now decided to comment! Your comment about the snow is what sparked a response from me
I too dread driving in the snow. Thankfully my husband doesn’t mind it. Which is good for me!
Also, I love your outfits!
i’m dying to get on the slopes! our snowboards are collecting dust. but come march, i’ll be ready for spring, so my winter-fever will be short lived.
Also, my work follows government snow days…. and i could really use a snow day!
Those shoes are awesome!
LOVE the black, red, and white combination…especially because you mixed it up a little and kept it classic (not punky) with your choice of jewelry, shoes, hair style, and incorporating a patterned shirt. Really love the shoes!

I’m on the east coast, and we’re having unusually mild weather, too. I like it.
