I have been trying to do this blog post for the past hour but I keep getting new house decorating ideas
and then feel compelled research it online. I have now looked up area rugs, range hoods, wardrobes,
and drawer pulls all in the amount of time that I should have been doing this post. Ah!
I was about to go create a color palette for the kitchen remodel that Kai and I can’t even afford right
now but forced myself not to. But just for the heck of it: slate gray, light gray, white, celery green, with
pops of robins egg blue. Whew. Got that out of my system!
Today’s outfit was a comfortable one! My go-to maxi dress worn as a skirt never seems to get old.
I gathered the back of the skirt from the inside and tied it off with a hairband. This actually made this
skirt easier to walk in for work at the salon – it shortened it a touch and added some kick room.
Outfit Breakdown:
Jacket: LOFT / Top: Zara / Dress (worn as skirt): BCBG purchased through T.J.Maxx
Shoes: Purchased in Kenya / Earrings: Banana Republic / Necklace: Adorn Me
Hair:
Similar to this tutorial, but just twisted on one side from an off center part and gathered into a messy
bun on opposite side.
So uhhh … I guess that’s all for today. I’m going to go get lost on pinterest.
