Happy Mother’s Day! Kai and I stopped by our parent’s houses and afterwards took these pictures at
Robinette’s orchard. The trees are all blooming and it looks so, so gorgeous! I am loving all the flowers
popping up. Yummy.

Outfit Breakdown:
Dress: Gap / Belt: Secondhand / Sandals: Purchased in Kenya / Purse: Banana Republic
Earrings: Paperdoll Boutique (Gift) / Sunglasses: Banana Republic Factory Store

When this dress came in at the Gap, none of my co-workers really liked it. Though after awhile, it
started to grow on me. I bought it hesitantly, but once I added a belt I knew I made the right choice!
Sad to say, this item ended up on the sale rack marked down time after time. No one else saw it’s value …
but I get compliments every time I wear it!

If you haven’t entered the giveaway to win an Africa Picture of the Day 10×15 print, you gotta!
Do that here. :)

LOVE this dress! I was going to comment that even before I read that noone else liked it; its SO perfect for spring and summer. Love the retro south-weastern vibe. I was expecting it to be from a vintage thrift store, not the gap!
