Target Clearance Rack Extravaganza.

Yesteday I mentioned that I stopped into Target really quick … and when I say “really
quick” I actually mean for about an hour. Their clearance rack was full of goodies!
I purchased seven things for a grand total of $75 (including tax) and one of those items
was a swim suit. FTW! Six of the items were for me and one was for my sister just because.

I am one of those people that when I buy/receive new things, I wear them immediately.
I don’t like to let things sit in the closet with tags on them. Nuh uh. If I liked it enough to
buy it, I liked it enough to wear it right away!

Today I am wearing a top that I purchased on clearance yesterday for $6.42

I loved that this blouse has kind of a vintage feel to it. Considering that Grand Rapids doesn’t
have many thrift stores that I like (if you know of some, please tell me!), I will just fake
the look instead. I will call this faux-vintage. :)

Here’s a better shot of the top. I like the autumn-y color scheme a lot.

New OPI nail polish! This is a part of the Burlesque collection – “The Show Must Go On”.

And then Kai suggested I do a headshot because I “look really nice today”. Aw! This may be
due to the fact that I haven’t left my hair down and styled since my Maxi Dress Goes Autumn post.

Not my favorite portrait shot to date but hey, Kai thinks I look nice and that’s all that
matters, really. Aw, he’s so great. :)

Outfit Breakdown.
Leather Jacket: Banana Republic / Blouse: Target / Belt: Kohl’s / Bracelets: Upper arm – Mom’s , Bangle set – Old Navy
Jeans: Gap / Shoes: Circa Joan & David through Macy’s

This outfit worked really well for my morning at the salon. It was a short day since today
is usually my Friday off  (I work every-other) but my good friend from Midland was
in town and needed her color done and we also practiced her wedding updo (how exciting)!

This evening I work shipment at the Gap so I am going to trade these jeans out for a
straight leg shorter pair so I can wear the flats I had on yesterday – much more appropriate!

I am super excited about my new, well below full priced, items! Where do you like to
shop to get good deals? Any notorious sales racks I should know about?

Check back tomorrow – I will be posting a DIY project!

i like nordstrom rack… sometimes they are hit or miss. but when they are good, they are real good! and then, you guys don’t have this on the west side of the state but its called Loehmann’s and its sort of like a high end marshalls. they carry a lot of the free people line at ridiculously cheap prices and that makes me HAPPY :)

I love the way your hair is styled – simple yet elegant. How do you consistently get it to look so good (and so natural)?

Nice job! I never find anything on Targets sale rack…it’s always odd shaped, or hoochie worthy! I need an idea for my secret santa party with my friends…I’m working with skinny black jeans, cream patent heals, or black ankle boots….what kinda top? I’m such a mom. :)
